Salt & Static is a Portland four-piece blending wiry post-punk guitars, widescreen shoegaze textures, melodic bass lines, and hook-forward indie rock. Formed in 2019 around songs about weather, motion, and late-night city detail, the band has grown into a production-conscious live act built for clubs, festivals, colleges, and high-energy support slots. Mara Vale leads the band with compact, cinematic vocal writing while Theo Kline layers stereo guitars and synth textures, Jules Park anchors melodic bass and harmonies, and Nico Reyes runs a tight hybrid drum/sample setup. The result is a set that feels bigger than the stage without making production complicated: flexible show lengths, public-safe media, a numbered input list, monitor plan, power notes, and downloadable EPK assets are ready for bookers, promoters, and venue teams.
